Human in the Urban space (2025)
This work documents the relationship between humanity and the city. Beginning with the theme of infrastructure, the project records human beings who have themselves become infrastructuralized within the urban environment, focusing on the roles they perform within it. What has become deeply familiar to contemporary humanity — “living” — is no longer merely a matter of survival, but now demands the individual to function as a member of society. As a result, networking within the city and society has become an essential condition directly tied to survival itself.
이 작업은 인간과 도시 그 사이의 관계를 기록하는 작업이다. 인프라라는 주제로 시작한 이 작업은 도시 속에 인프라화 된 인간을 기록하고, 그 역할에 초점을 둔다. 현재 인류에게 너무 익숙한 ‘살아가기 (Living)’는 이제 더 이상 존속의 문제에 그치지 않고 한 사회의 일원으로서의 인간을 기대한다. 그렇기에 도시와 사회에서의 네트워킹은 현재 생존에 직결된 중요한 수단이 된다.
