Within the vast organism of the city,

infrastructure functions as the organs of the city,

and within these immense organs,

we quietly exist.

In a way,

we too are infrastructure.

We are the smallest units required

to sustain the organization.

And in order to maintain the human being —

the smallest unit within the city —

we transform ourselves into “infrastructure.”

Through this,

we search for life.

I am infrastructure, and you are infrastructure.

Together, that becomes society,

forming one axis of the city.

Without human beings,

there is no city.

That is why we are infrastructure —

the foundation itself.

Ours is a mutually parasitic relationship.

The cities we created

have become vast organizations

that impose themselves upon humanity.

And once again,

we carve into the city.

This work captures the image of human beings

who transform themselves into infrastructure

in order to survive within the city.

도시라는 거대한 조직안에서

인프라는 도시의 장기와 같으며

거대한 장기속에서

우리는 홀연히 살아간다

어찌 보면 우리도

도시의 인프라다

조직을 구성하기 위해 필요한 가장 작은 단위다

그리고 인간이라는

도시의 가장 작은 단위의 개체를 유지하기 위해

우리는 스스로를 “인프라”화 한다

그것으로 삶을 찾는다

나 도 인프라고 너 도 인프라다 그것이 모여 사회고

도시의 한축을 담당한다

인간이 없다면 도시는 없다

그렇기 때문에 기반 시설이다

서로 상호기생적인 관계이다

우리가 만든 도시는

거대한 조직이 되어 인간을 강제한다

우리는 다시 도시를 훼절한다

이 작업은 스스로를 인프라화 하며 도시속을 살아가는 인간의 모습을 담는다.
